Annotation | Geriatric day hospitals are difficult to evaluate and their effectiveness is controversial. In this Vancouver based programme, mobility significantly improved between admission and discharge, but functional status did not. However, improvements in mobility were lost at three months post-discharge from the programme. (RH). |
