Annotation | High levels of satisfaction were found among users in the Forth Valley NHS Board area's hospital, community and day care services. Patient care was also of a high standard, with provision of a range of therapeutic and leisure activities, as well as availability of advocacy services. The inspection identified problems with: delayed discharges; inequity of service provision between north and south Forth Valley; alternatives to NHS continuing care for some patients; and service user and carer involvement.
