AnnotationServices which offer welfare benefits advice in primary care have been established for more than 10 years, and there is evidence that service users find it easier to access such services in a setting which is familiar, unstigmatising, and nearer to home. This summary outlines the key findings and policy implications of a study that set out to explore the impact on clients' health of income increases resulting from welfare benefits advice given in a primary care setting.
