AnnotationPrimary care is now at the core of health service policy in the UK. This report brings together information about the psychological needs of older people in primary care and the efficacy of psychological interventions to their needs with regard to mental health problems, dementia, physical disability, stroke, falls, challenging behaviour, and carers. The different service models and the distinctiveness of clinical psychology work with older people are outlined. The report is intended primarily for clinical psychiatrists and PSIGE members. (RH).
