| Annotation | This "refreshed" set of social services performance ratings have updated the first publication in May 2002, when for the first time ratings were produced on the performance of adult and children social services by local councils. The ratings have been formulated from evidence from published performance indicators, inspection, Social Services Inspectorate (SSI) and Audit Commission Joint Reviews, review of plans and in-year performance information from both the SSI and the external auditors for each council. These ratings represent the SSI's view of the overall performance of each council in delivering social services. These updated ratings include additional inspection findings that have become available for the period April to June 2002. (KJ/RH). |
