Annotation | This study describes the development, validity and application of the Problem Behaviour Inventory (PBI), a tool to assess dementia-related behaviours in community-based populations. Based on a study of 728 cognitively impaired clients, enrolled in the US Community Care Services Program (CCSP), it concludes that the PBI is a valid, useful and feasible tool for assessing the behaviours in question.
