Annotation | Cognitively impaired older people often exhibit behaviours such as hitting, screaming and wandering. The cause of these behaviours is complex and includes factors such as past personality and life experiences. This paper presents a method for assessing psychosocial history that is derived from the Need-driven Dementia-compromised Behavior Model (NDB). The use of these data for designing activities that respond to dementia-related behaviours is illustrated. (RH). |
