AnnotationThe health outcomes of older people who reported on their level of satisfaction with support given to family, friends or community organisations was investigated, using data from the Women's Health and Aging Study (WHAS), a 3-year American prospective cohort study of women aged 65+. Results demonstrate that the level of satisfaction with support given to family, friends or the community is associated with an older person's future health. (KJ/RH).
