Annotation | The health service in Glasgow is producing some innovative service developments to help and support people with mental health problems in the city, which will enable problems identified in previous SHAS reports to be tackled. Examples of good practice include community-based services such as the Mental Health Users Network. Recommendations for continuing improvement include: implementation of discharge arrangements with more involvement by users and carers in discharge planning; and improving the environment in rehabilitation and continuing care services.
