Annotation | Work by the Centre for Research on Ageing and Gender (CRAG) at the University of Surrey has explored what the impact is on older care home residents, if they are temporarily moved whilst premises are refurbished. This report provides findings from work with temporarily re-located older care home residents in Surrey. Relocation followed a transfer in 1998 of 17 Surrey County Council residential homes to Anchor Homes, who began a major rebuild/refurbishment programme due to last 12 to 14 months. (KJ/RH). |
