AnnotationIn this study of user views - part of Camden Council's Best Value (BV) review of older people's services - 31 residents in six homes, 17 service users living in the community, and 7 sheltered housing residents were interviewed. For care home residents, the aim was to explore what they thought about the residential care admission process, what they liked about their current living arrangements, and what could be improved. Views of staff were sought to complement those of residents. Interviews with those living in the community were designed to elicit information about their views of Camden services currently used, in terms of quality, effectiveness, and accessibility, particularly in relation to the process of assessment, whether services met their expectations, what they liked about them, and how they could be improved.
