AnnotationTwo different clock drawing tests (CDTs) with different scoring systems were compared in this Israeli cross-sectional study at a psychogeriatric outpatient clinic. Performance on Shulman's clock was similar in mild to moderate dementia of the Alzheimer's type (DAT) patients, while on Freedman's clock it was significantly worse in the moderate group. Even where CDTs correlated well with the demographic and cognitive variables studied, this correlation was not ubiquitous and changed with dementia severity. Neither clock correlated with activities of daily living (ADLs) in either stage of dementia severity. (RH).
