Annotation | Attributing health problems to ageing may carry a risk of adverse health events. Of 1391 respondents to the US Longitudinal Study of Aging (LSOA) 1984-1988 who reported difficulty with one or more activities of daily living (ADLs), 72 attributed their impairment primarily to "old age".
