Annotation | The Liverpool Integrated Care Pathway for the Dying Patient hass been developed jointly by the Marie Curie Centre, Liverpool and the Palliative Care Team at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital. The ICP focuses on three man areas: initial assessment and care; ongoing care of the dying patient; and care after death. The authors describe how this model of care of the dying can be translated from the specialist palliative care setting to use in other health care settings. (RH). |
