Annotation | The differences between death and bereavement practices of Hindus in India and in England are examined; and practical recommendations are offered, the implementation of which would enable Hindus in Britain to mirror some of the salient experiences of Hindus in India. The author proposes a conceptual model which allows one to understand and explain differences and similarities between Hindus and the English in their attitudes, beliefs, and values towards death and bereavement.
