AnnotationNorth Staffordshire consists of Stoke on Trent, Newcastle under Lyme and Staffordshire Moorlands. This report presents findings of a consultation exercise on diet and nutrition of people age 50+ carried out between August and October 2001 as part of the Beth Johnson Foundation's ongoing health promotion work. The aim is to identify and highlight the views and comments of older people in North Staffordshire on food, shopping and consumption, and thereby to develop a practical strategy for the effective promotion of dietary change. Recommendations are made regarding shopping, education, cooking, and transport. (RH).
