AnnotationEvidence suggests that intergenerational practice (IP) enables the bringing together of two generations that have been separated from each other through changes in social structures, and enables the strengths of each age group to enhance the life experience of the other. This review provides an overview of current IP in the UK. It furthers our understanding of what constitutes good practice and examines the relationship between practice, policy and research. It analyses more than 60 projects that have in common participants who are convinced of the intergenerational approach to building healthy and cohesive communities. (RH).
