Annotation | Age Concern welcomes proposals to regulate the provision of domiciliary care, which will bring much needed protection to vulnerable older people who use such services. In responding, Age Concern notes possible confusion in defining boundaries, for example, between regulated personal care services and the type of support that might be provided under "Supporting People" arrangements. Responses are to general questions on different types of domiciliary care services, questions on the regulatory impact assessment, and questions specifically of interest to domiciliary care agencies.
