Annotation | Education for and about ageing provides an opportunity for children to gain continuity in their lives, by recognizing the naturalness and realities of growing old in a multicultural Australia. As life expectancy continues to increase in Australia, it will be important for children and adolescents to engage in meaningful and thought-provoking experiences that "emphasize possibilities, potentialities, and positive outcomes of the human adventure". This article outlines the project, its methodology, and emerging themes on family relationships, intergenerational connections, changes in health and physical capacity, and children's future selves.
