AnnotationThe Health survey of England comprises a series of annual series, of which the 2000 survey is the tenth. The Health Survey series is part of an overall programme of surveys commissioned by the Department of Health (DH), and designed to provide regular information on various aspects of the nation's health. This report, on the methodology for the 2000 survey, is one of six reports based on the survey. It covers sample designs, topic coverage and fieldwork procedures for the private households and care homes surveys, and matters concerning quality control, ethical clearance, data analysis, and reporting.
