AnnotationProvides information on services purchased or provided by local authorities for people living in the community, covering home help and home care services; meals delivered to people's homes or served at luncheon clubs and day centres. The 1994 issue was the first to reflect the position eighteen months after the introduction of community care legislation. More detailed findings are given in the annual personal social services local authority statistical series HMD. Discontinued as the DH RAP series of statistics has replaced this data, although not identical.
