Annotation | There is a vast array of scales available for assessing all aspects of mental and physical health in older people which mey be relevant to the work of old age psychiatrists. This article summarises some of the commonly-used scales in clinical and research practice, and suggests where further information may be obtained. The choice of a particular scale relies specifically on the question being asked. The ideal scale does not exist. (RH). |
