AnnotationThese Regulations are made under the Care Standards Act 2000, and apply to England only. They make provision for the registration and inspection by the National Care Standards Commission (NCSC) of establishments and agencies including independent hospitals, care homes, domiciliary care agencies, and nurses agencies. The Regulations cover applications for registration, certificates of registration, conditions such as financial viability, and cancellation of registration. (RH).
