Annotation | 101 carers were identified from interviews with co-residents of older people with psychiatric illnesses identified with standardised instruments from a representative sample of 1.085 residents in Islington, north London. This short article presents data on time spent caring according to diagnosis of care recipient, comments from carers about the impact of caring on their lives, and what support they found most useful. Further research to investigate these results is being conducted. (RH). |
