AnnotationThis double volume grew out of the preparations for the first international conference, "Ageing, Spirituality and Pastoral Care in the Twenty-first Century" held in Canberra, Australia in January 2000. The main invited speakers came from a range of disciplines of gerontology, bringing with them a variety of world views of what it means to be growing older at the beginning of the twenty-first century. The papers in this volume cover two main themes: ethical, theological and biblical dimensions; and issues of ageing and pastoral care. (KJ/RH).
