AnnotationAnnual series in continuous operation since 1957. Statistics on household characteristics, expenditure and income. From the survey 2001/02 onwards, there will be a merger between FES and the NFS to create a new survey, the Expenditure and Food Survey (EFS). However the first edition of this new survey, 2001-02 report, was reissued as a revised edition in September 2003, due to statistical errors being discovered in the first edition, after publication in May 2003. Palgrave Macmillan took over from TSO the publication of this series with the 2004 edition. The 2007 edition celebrates 50 years of results and features an analysis of changes in the patterns of household expenditure since 1957. (KJ).
