AnnotationThe Scottish Executive established the Care Development Group (CDG) in January 2001, to develop suitable proposals for providing free personal care for frail older people. The CDG has consulted the public in various ways, one of which has been through focus groups. This is an outline of findings regarding focus groups' attitudes to and experiences of personal care, and their views about services to older people more generally. (RH).
