Annotation | In order to allow a full examination of the implications and costs of implementing the recommendations of the Royal Commission on Long-Term Care, the Scottish Executive established the Care Development Group (CDG). The Group's aim was to ensure that older people in Scotland have access to high quality and responsive long-term care in the appropriate setting and on a fair and equitable basis. This study sought the views of carers and people aged 50+ about issues regarding the provision of free personal care, the main results of which are summarised in these Research Findings. (RH). |
