Annotation | For the first time, domiciliary care standards are to be regulated, which is likely to be one of the most difficult tasks for the newly-created National Care Standards Commission (NCSC). This article looks at provisions of the Care Standards Act 2000 relating to domiciliary care, and considers issues which could arise with regard to national minimum standards. It also looks at other care services regulated by the NCSC and other bodies established under the Act. (RH). |
