AnnotationComments are invited in this consultation paper on three draft Regulations and one draft Order to be issued under the Regulation of Care (Scotland) Act 2001. The draft Regulations cover such matters as: certificates of registration; requirements on care services in respect of management, staffing, premises and general conduct; promotion and protection of the health and welfare of people using these services; minor and technical changes to the appointment provisions in the Scottish Social Services Council. The draft order relates to applications to the Care Commission for registration of a care service, and for cancellation, variation, removal or renewal of registration of such a service. This Order comes into effect when the Commission becomes operational on 1 April 2002. (KJ/RH).
