Annotation | While older people are capable of learning to use the Internet, the effects of age-related memory changes and particularly Age Associated Memory Impairment (AAMI) on "fluid" memory may cause some problems. The article suggests training methods which use aspects of cognition which are less likely to be impaired by AAMI, for example repetition, stepped learning, and mnemonics. (RH). |
