Annotation | Patient involvement in service planning and delivery is an NHS priority. But can this be achieved in a meaningful way? The authors report on a special project involving three focus groups of patients aged 49-82 living in the Harlow, Essex area, regarding the quality of their treatment experiences. The article lists major themes arising from the focus groups, and comparative ranking of patients' and professionals' priorities for change. (RH). |
