Annotation | Primary care nurses have a key role to play in identifying and supporting people with dementia. However, many lack the skills necessary to provide effective support. A survey in Gloucestershire, Avon and Somerset found that primary care nurses would benefit from improved training. People with dementia and their carers would also benefit from improved access to services. (RH). |
