AnnotationThis circular announces the consultation draft regulations and national minimum standards for nurses agencies. The consultation draft includes a draft partial regulatory impact assessment. It is intended that the Nurses Agencies Act 1957 and its regulations will be repealed from July 2002. In addition, nurses agencies will be required to comply with requirements of Employment Agencies Act 1973 and its Regulations, from which until now they have been exempt. (KJ/RH).
