Annotation | One of the main conclusions made in this review is that more services are needed in Orkney to make further improvements in the care of older people, and those with mental health problems or a learning disability. The report describes the various aspects of the services, and how they meet SHAS indicators. It acknowledges the difficult balance that needs to be struck in providing general and specialist services to a small population, but concludes that Orkney would benefit from greater specialist input in a number of areas.
