Annotation | End of life issues cover a wide spectrum of considerations, including ethical, medical, legal, psycho-social and moral, which were the subject of a symposium forming part of the British Geriatrics Society (BGS) Spring Meeting at Warwick University, 6-8 April 2000. Four themes were discussed: modern palliative approaches; the case against euthanasia; euthanasia from a clinical perspective; and decision-making relative to end of life. (RH). |
