Annotation | The essays in this volume represent a variety of perspectives on the theory and clinical application of logotherapy, the School of Psychotherapy founded by Dr Viktor E Frankl (1905-1997). Six of the essays were first presented at a conference sponsored by the Center for Aging, Religion and Spirituality (CARS) held at Luther Seminary, St Paul, Minnesota in July 1999. Papers focus on meaning issues confronting those engaging in ministry with older people, including pastoral counselling, personhood in dementia, care of the terminally ill, depression, and long-term care.
