AnnotationThis guide has been developed as an extension and revision of "Different realities: a training guide for people with Down's syndrome and dementia", and is the result of work undertaken by the Training Sub-Group of the Older Adults with Learning Disabilities Working Group of the Lothian Primary Care NHS Trust. It has been designed as a flexible teaching resource for groups or trainers, or as a self-study pack for direct care staff caring for adults with a learning disability and dementia, some of whom will be over 65, but some, mainly those with Down's syndrome, will be in their 50s.
