Annotation | The White Paper, "Aiming for excellence: modernising social work services in Scotland" (March 1999) set out proposals to develop National Care Standards for a wide range of care services in Scotland. The Scottish Commission for the Regulation of Care (SCRC) takes over responsibilities for registration and inspection of care services on 1 April 2002. The content of each of these Scottish draft national care standards is based on six principles of dignity, safety, choice, privacy, diversity, and potential. With the exception of one third tranche report on services for children, these Scottish draft national care standards consultation papers are also catalogued individually. (RH) |
