Annotation | This comprises principally of a report of the paper by Murray Hunt, a practising barrister and member of Matrix Chambers, a new legal practice specialising in constitutional and international law. He outlines the most relevant rights in the Human Rights Act and its practical implications for issues affecting older people: health, housing, income, disability, education, consumer protection, access to information, and decision making. Delegates from a wide range of organisations, including older people's groups, carers, charities, nurses, advocacy groups and law practices discussed the implications of the Act for the groups and clients they represented.
