AnnotationThe Bishop of Birmingham delivered the first Leveson lecture on 31 January 2001 in the Foundation of Lady Katherine Leveson. The lecture contributes a theological perspective to the debate on issues concerning the funding of long-term care. The lecture also marked the formal launch of the Leveson Centre for the Study of Ageing, Spirituality and Social Policy, and sets out some of the Centre's aims and expectations, encouraging an agenda that values age in both society and the church.
