| Annotation | This circular attaches the consultation document that sets out the transitional arrangements for the change over period from regulation of services by local and health authorities to the National Care Standards Commission (NCSC). The transitional order also sets out the timetable for the commencement of key parts of the CSA and the revocation of current legislation. The order will provide the basis of the implementation of ll key principles for transition, briefly cited in this circular. The Government plans to make the Order in Parliament during autumn 2001, so comments are invited by 5 October 2001. (KJ/RH). |
