Annotation | A Law Commission working paper on the subject in 1976 expressed a provisional view that the law on mental incapacity should be altered, to enable a person of sound mind to grant a power of attorney which would continue to be in force if he became mentally incapable at a later date. This report makes recommendations for an enduring power of attorney (EPA), and presents a draft Enduring Powers of Attorney Bill. (RH). |
