Annotation | This bulletin disseminates a series of findings from a study which forms part of a research programme commissioned by the Department of Health. The study involves a representative sample of eleven local authorities - two London boroughs, three shire counties, three metropolitan districts and three unitary authorities. The programme's main aims are to describe, monitor and evaluate purchaser-provider relationships, with particular reference to the expansion of community-based care with the aim of improving choice, quality and cost-effectiveness. The bulletin is published usually once a year. See AgeInfo CD-ROM Organisations database for information about PSSRU. (KJ). |
