Annotation | Various expressions of intimacy in late life are discussed: intimacy in romantic and sexual relationships; sibling and friend relationships; intergenerational relationships; and ties with caregivers not related to the family. Challenges to intimacy - chronic pain, mental health problems, and bereavement - are examined.
