Annotation | A document from the Department of the Environment, Transport and the Regions (DETR, October 2000) on local strategic partnerships appears to advocate partnership working between statutory and voluntary organisations. In its response, Age Concern England (ACE) refers to "Overlooked and excluded? - older people and regeneration" by Riseborough and Sribjlanin (ACE, 2000): poor consultation with older people has been cited as a common and persistent problem hindering their participation in the work of local partnerships. ACE suggests how it can support the work of LSPs. (RH). |
