Annotation | Responding to carers' needs is a primary objective of health and social policy in the UK. This review considers the implications of implementing a partnership approach with family carers within a rehabilitative context, with the main emphasis on carers who are new to their role. The limitations of existing practice are identified, and suggestions for improvement are made. (RH). |
