Annotation | The ability to integrate a diversity of people, as well as faster inclusion and social solidarity is vital for human survival. This article was first presented at the 4th Global Conference on Ageing. In it, the authors, highlight practical examples of social integration of older people in Singapore, through family and community support, housing, employment, health care, transport, and education. To work, social integration must build human capacities and provide opportunities that enable older citizens to fulfil their potential and enjoy full participation in society. (RH). |
