Annotation | People with Alzheimer's disease (AD) are not well served by designs that are inappropriate to their needs. Environments that cater for special needs and support mobility and function should be viewed as preventative medicine. The challenge is to develop appropriate environmental strategies and implement them early when they have the greatest impact on the ageing process. (RH). |
