Annotation | Two papers in this issue of Aging & Mental Health are presented as systematic reviews on the effectiveness of psychosocial interventions for carers of people with dementia. Given the differences in the results produced, this editorial examines their search strategies and questions the absence of a quantitative data synthesis. Sources which provide some guidance for improving such reviews are suggested. (RH). |
